Favorite compound via rotary?

What is your favorite compound using the rotary thats somewhat usuable in the sun? My favorite so far is with the meguiar burgandy cutting pad with meg's diamond cut mixed with hyper compound. although it seems like there are filling oils with diamond cut, i would like to switch to another. actually.. what meguiar product doesnt have fillers? i think none! another one i had excellent luck with is scratch-x/hyper compound via rotary.. once again, a lot of fillers. i like compounds that doesnt chalk much, i really dont mind gumming as i take it off with aio at the end.

I usually just throw some sand on the paint, spray the pad with water and go to town.

Very versatile and finishes down almost perfectly, good for one step applications.

i tried meguiars #83 with like 1/4 hypercompound.. a little dusting but it cut very well!

if sand isnt available.. is dirt ok? i think as long as there is no rocks in the dirt, it will work.

You should filter the dirt first and make sure you use it with a heavy cutting pad!!!

I too like the Hi-Temp mixed with OP 50/50, though I haven't used it much in the sun.



And as far as that Burgandy cutting pad is concerned, testing with my ETG has shown that wool give about twice the cut and leaves the surface is similar condition...so there's really no place in my arsenal for rough foam cutting pads.



I'm going to tryt he 4-star compounds next.
