Used some CG stuff today....mini review

1) Honeydew Snow Foam Wash -- smells great, worked well in foam gun and in a bucket. Did not notice the "unique micro cleaning bubbles" referenced on CG website. For me, worked similar to Maxi Suds II but with a different smell, with a few less suds. Not sure if I like it better than Maxi-Suds, I'm 50/50. I do like the fact that it's more of a natural color than the bright neon hi-liter pink of Maxi-Suds. 8/10

2) New Look Trim Gel -- I bought this for it's "restoration" type properties. Put on faded running boards, mudflaps, bumpers, and the plastic piece on the hood of my Nissan Armada. Looks positive so far -- I was very impressed with the application! A little bit goes a very long way. One drop does half a running board, and I used maybe 1/16 of the bottle for the entire truck. In contrast, if I were using Mothers Back-to-Black, I would probably use almost half the bottle.

Initially the "thick" gel consistency was a bit annoying, but it grew on me during the application. I used a toothbrush to get it into some of the crevasses of the running board, worked great. I applied two coats (separated by 10 minutes), then I wiped it down with a clean MF. The wipe brought the gloss down a bit, as their marketing says, depending on application you can adjust the gloss.

On tires -- I put Meguiar's Endurance on 2, and CG New Look on 2. Same result as before, a little goes a long way. I would say the Meg's was a little easier to put on (just slightly), the gel is thinner. BUT, it took about double the amount of product for the Meg's to cover a tire compared to CG. I wiped all tires down to reduce the gloss a little. The two look very similar, will keep an eye out for which one lasts longer.

Overall I really like this stuff! 9/10 (reserving the extra point until it rains or I wash the car again)
