F350 Crew (mini-monster)

Clean Dean

Keep it clean !!!
Took 6.5 hours in 90 degree heat to get this mini-monster truck up to snuff on Tuesday. The paint was worked by rotary w/ Megs DACP (Edge Green) +#9 (Edge Blue) and topped with Ibiz wax. The aluminum wheels were polished with Flitz paste/Flitz ball and a Dewalt Drill.

Inside and out, it looks great! 6.5 hours is impressive for something that large doing a 3 step on the paint. :up

Flitz/Flitz ball treatment on Aluminum wheels

I made the owner promise me a spin next week. I was not about to get in after 8 hours of detailing in 90 degree heat.

Thanks Scottwax. The truck had moderate wash swirls, and the interior was pretty decent from the start (thank god). The aluminum wheel were in good shape and the flitz really brought back a mirror like shine.

I did one last year a Purple 02, and the car did nothing for me. This car really changed my opinion of the Viper. Awesome car only meant for the true driving enthusiast. Would definitly opt for a Viper and a Z06 combination over any $150-200k super Euro car.

Hey Dean,

Great work as usual!! :xyxthumbs

Man...you did the big Ford in only 6.5 hours!!! :scared: You must have been really moving!!

Tim

Excellent job. The truck looks amazing! The viper needs no compliments :D

I have a neighbor hiding a Viper in his garage, within my complex. I'm going to start advertising soon and hopefully I'll be able to get my hands on it. It's a nice black one.

I have a huge respect for you for being able to work on that Super Duty in that amount of time. My Dad has a '99 and it takes me close to 2 hours just to wash it!

Gret work. :D

I detailed a super duty crew cab just like that one last year for a retired firefighter who was selling it. He used to tow a 5th wheel trailer and had just bought a motorhome.

The truck would not fit in my garage, so after washing and drying I parked in in my yard under my maple trees and went at it. It took me twelve hours (eight on day one, four on day two) to get it done. The owner had waxed it about three months before and used an entire can of Turtle Wax on it! The mouldings, bedrails, running boards, door handles and the area where the fiberglass fenders for the duallys meet the truck bed had imbeeded dried TW in them. It took 4 hours just to remove it all!

I commend you for getting it done in 6.5 hours under grueling heat! :spot
