I'm with mtodde, I don't like SG all that much. First of all, you have to apply at *least* three coats of SG before it really starts to look good and if something takes that much effort to look good, it's not for me. Aside from the fact that it's a total PITA to get off!
My favorite, prior to using EX, was 1Z Glanz Wax, which is a lot like SG except easy to remove and looks great after one pass, but it was just missing something that I could never quite put my finger on. Now that I've used EX, I think I have found my new favorite. If you happen to apply EX or EX-P too thick, don't worry, it comes off very easy. The only thing that will happen is you will end up with a little white residue a couple days later which comes off when you wash it. I just recently learned that by applying it with a finishing pad and PC, it goes on nice, smooth, and thin....perfect. I applied it, and then finished off the detail while letting it dry on the car at least 30-45 minutes and then came back and wiped off the excess which was extremely easy.
