p.s. i use cuticle scissors and am able to cut close to the edge with no issues, like if they weren't there...[/quote]

Great idea! I'm glad I looked at this thread before I started the yank and tear method of tag removal. Seems like that always ends up making the edges fray around where the tag was after a few uses.

these scissors work great (are able to get closer to the edge than your average scissors) and i also used them to cut the cuff off my sheepskin mitt as well... :D

I think they charge $10 for shipping and I'm not biting. I'd really like to try them but won't accept that charge. I contacted them and they told me "not available at the retail store level".

I got the same shipping price and decided not to get them either, because at $3.50 a towel that is not that cheap compared to the other places I get my MF's at (DD, exceldetail, AG, CG).

I hear ya. I've got a case of MF and have no need for more. I was anxious to try these but won't pay $10 to ship some towels.

just to let you guys know... both exceldetail & pakshak carry the 10pk as well...

Yep, and the shipping charges will likely be within a $1 or 2.

I'll try to remember to order them next time I buy from Ranney or Patrick. Thx for mentioning it.

(Personally, I'd much rather stroll into Wally's and just buy it there...right from the shelf where they keep the wash mitts.)

i don't know if you are referring to the shag towels mentioned here, but nobody carries them on a retail level. as far as i know, you can only order it on-line from them (eurow) or other on-line stores...

i just paid 10 bux to ship my water devourer from danase shipping is getting steep makes ags free shipping a DEAL

either way the eurows kick major ***, i just got some phat towels and the eurows are easily 2 times thicker

In case no one has noticed, fuel prices have gone up, resulting in increased shipping fees. 2lbs from west to east is running about $7.50, 3lbs over $10.00 via Priority Mail.

On another note, Walmart will not be carrying the Eurow brand sheepskins anymore, and if I remember correctly, they wont be carrying the shag towels once there out.

I would like to add that many online sellers are missing out on using priority mail to ship smaller shipments. USPS has a fixed rate priority mail box and it can be as little as $5.40. Some sellers insist on using UPS and charges START at almost $9 and going up.

I agree. The bad part is not only are shipping fees going up but everyone wants a discount on their items AND discounted shipping and want the suppliers to take two hits.
