I see now what you guys have been talking about. I just received mine. They are the plushest, softest, nicest MF I've ever seen. I wish they came tag-free though.
 
Yeah, I was impressed when I opened the package for the first time too. These are great towels, especially for the price!

p.s. i use cuticle scissors and am able to cut close to the edge with no issues, like if they weren't there...

Great idea! I'm glad I looked at this thread before I started the yank and tear method of tag removal. Seems like that always ends up making the edges fray around where the tag was after a few uses.
