When waxing what do you do when you come to car emblems? detail around it and use a detailing brush in the logo?

Accumulator said:I don't use brushes as even my softest BHBs will mar paint if used dry. I use either very plush MFs or cotton/foam swabs.
I try to be a little careful about letting abrasive polishes contact emblems; the trunklid badges (and some other pieces) on the Jag have their chrome all worn away from years of polishing when I didn't mask them off.
Use a paint cleaner.DetailnByDustn said:Okay thanks! I guess q-tips are the same as the cotton swabs hahawhats the best way of getting rid of old wax in the emblems?
