"WOW. I wasn't aware of that... That is definetely, wrong... There are no aliphatic hydrocarbons in ZFX.
I will make the necessary corrections..
That's what I get for not proof reading everything myself. Oh well..
Thank you very kindly, for bringing that to my attention... I owe you one."

Thank You,

I believe Sal answered that question publicly.
In terms of aliphatic hydrocarbons, I would guess that Z sealants and Z1 do contain some. In terms of organic (hydrocarbon) solvents a manufacturer has 3 choices of organic solvents: Aromatic (carbon ring structured), Aliphatic (carbon straight chain structured) or a combination of both.
With the ever expanding and present VOC compliance regulations, aromatic contents are restricted because of their potential contribution to the deterioration of air quality. This resulted in the expanded use of aliphatic compounds and other non-volatile solvents. The trick is to make these less volatile solvents function in a similiar manner as their aromatic cousins. Many have failed in accomplishing this task resulting in either discontinuation of the product (Meg#16 and Final Detail), restricted distribution (FK shipped from AZ), or noticeable decline in product quality and performance (Klasse).
It took Zaino many years to accomplish this VOC compliant conversion and still maintain and in most cases advance the quality of his product line.
The uniqueness of the Zaino line is not based in it individual components but the structuring of these components. So far, reverse engineering or other's combinations of these components have not quite duplicated Zaino products. :bow
