Duragloss Impressions

I don't think anything like ZFX would sell at the retail level. I'm sure some bubba would buy just that and start waxing away with it! However something on their site with a detail explanation would be cool.

Those Bimmers look outstanding!

Can someone please educate me on something real quick. What is the difference between the 111 and 105 again? I can't find the thread that explained it.

Thanks.

111 and 105 are both nonabrasive LSP polymer sealants, and they both can layer. 105 is DG's newest sealant and a vastly superior (IMO) formula than that used for 111 and 101, for that matter. 101 and 111 have been around a loooong time, with very little updating as far as I know. They are older formulas and while they still work well, 105 is better in almost every way. 105 is more durable, much easier to use, glossier, slicker, wetter and all around a "new and improved" formula. It is comparable to the very best sealants on the market, IMO, whereas I saw 111 as pretty good, but other sealant products could be found better, i.e. Zaino, Klasse, etc. 105 closes that gap, and I personally think it can rival the best sealants on the market, regardless of price. DG products have long gone without much updating I believe, but the 105 and AW are completely new and their performance is outstanding.

Think of the 111 as a 1985 BMW, and the 105, a brand new M3!

105 toped with AW.

A quick correction, #111 has no cleaners or abrasives of any kind and can layer. Their 101 polish is the AIO or ColorX type product and cannot layer.
I just found this great Duragloss thread. I've been using Aquawax for about a year and it's great. I'm learning about their other products. Recently I emailed them about the difference between their 111 Clear Coat Polish and Aquawax. Jerry replied: "The Clear Coat Polish has a mild cleaner in it that will remove fine scratches. The Aquawax does not contain any cleaners."

I started out with AW and was totally impressed , I've bought quite a few other products directly from DG , I feel I get good fresh product than the dusty stuff I find off the shelf.

I've been impressed by all their stuff and love it , honestly became my go to product line .
