Droid or Blackberry

hey david i bet the a.s. forum has had more hits in the last day from autopians than it has in the last 6 months from regulars. so in a round about way maybe this is what they are wanting.
 
I'm certainly not in the name-calling business. But you all have to like Jason's line, " wonder what they call their posters over there? Auto-super-martians?" Hehe!
 
Im gonna have to "vent", that is the most childish crap i have ever seen. Instead of bashing each othe for their cars or products, we actually get to talk about detailing and the differences in opinions we have here... wow, what a concept. Grow up!:rolleyes:

I just recently found this board and I'm thrilled.



I have so many people/friends around me that cannot understand my car cleaning rituals. They call me crazy. You should see their cars (over time they all turn shades of brown, and their wheels get progressively darker until black).



Nice to find out I'm not alone.

I came into this discussion late, and it looks like Auto-Super-Hyper-Mega-Mart has taken down all the posts relating to Autopia.

What matters most is what you are doing to your vehicles... if you're happy, everyone here wants to know about it!
 
Just for the record, I never, ever posted on autosupermart. I don't know who this DETAILKING is over there, but it sure is interesting. I never even heard of it before reading this post.
 
I don't even find it the slightest bit interesting. It's tiresome, lame and quite sad over there. I sincerely believe that I would lessen myself if I visited that forum. Laters.
 
Wait a minute now, just because they dont have as good a shine as us doesnt mean you should laugh at them, well...yes you can:D Thye are out of control!
 
I have an iphone now and love it but before I switched to ATT I had a blackberry and honestly they are just some amazing devices, super simple, reliable as hell, perfectly organized email accounts and killer battery life (iphone sucks in that department)

Im sure droid does more stuff and if multimedia and entertainment is your thing that its probably a great choice but BB IMHO is such a solid product, yet not ideal for entertainment purposes.
 
I have a Droid and it really is an excellent phone. The operating system is just about perfect.

In the two months that I have owned the phone, I have only had one problem that was easily solved by a simple restart.
 
I have a BB Storm with the upgraded software, and I love it. I do hear from everyone who has a Droid, that they are even better though. I have never used one, but have only heard good things sbout them.
 
Thanks for the input guys as it sound like the BB is solid and from what I can find does GSM.

I have the Palm Pre, but have had the Blackberry in the past and a few at work have the Droid. I honestly don't think you can go wrong with either. The Blackberry is BY FAR the phone of business travelers and stuff and the Droid is probably built more around being fun/entertaining, but will still provide everything you need as far as business goes as well.

I think you have narrowed it down to two excellent phones, good luck! I LOVE getting new phones and very rarely go more than a year with the same phone, but for my money, this Pre is the most phenomenal phone I've ever had my hands on, I absolutely love it. And say what you will about Sprint, but their coverage and their plans are the best around. Plus, I like to support the home town carrier here in Overland Park. :clap:
