I just switched two days ago from Verizon to TMobile myself, and in doing so picked up the new Nexus One. Verizon is supposed to get in come Spring, and so far its a really nice phone. I'm not one to update my phone or change things often, so I'm hoping this will be solid over the next 2 years.
The Droid looks really nice as does the HTC Eris, but I didn't want to pay what it would cost to keep going with Verizon and upgrade my plan.
From everything I've heard, BlackBerry's are super reliable, have great battery life, and are rock solid. As mentioned already, they lack the "cool" effect some other phones have, but everything is a trade off and it's all up to your priorities
