Dollar Tree microfibers! Best in the world!

Nagchampa

Oh I'll Bring the Shizzle
Just kidding about that best in the world crack, I couldn't resist!

I was at the dollar store when I saw a rack of MF's. This definitely got my attention so I ran over knocking down any small children that stood in my way (like any true Autopian would). They had blue, green, yellow, purple, and pink. These are small (12 x 12) but they are very plush! I snatched up 20 of them and rushed home to tell you guys.

They seem like really good towels so far, but at $1 a piece, they are a bargain. They are labelled "Dollar Tree" brand but you might find them under a different name at another dollar store. I wonder how they compare to the other brands. I will probably wash them a few times before I put them to use.:xyxthumbs

Good one! :)

Yeah, let us know who they work out. $1 a pop and no wait time for shipping or shipping charges. Hmmm....if your review is positive, there'll be lots of Autopians hanging out at Dollar Stores. :D

Very cool find Nagchampa. And I liked that "best in the world" part too! :D

Don't forget to do a CD test and tell us your findings. :) I for one, have NEVER seen microfiber in any dollar store here (and in very few other places truthfully). Could be just another "east coast" thing. :p

Actually, I got them in Niagara Falls, New York so it is more like a US thing.:( Just give it some time and you will see microfibers in every dollar store.

Just did the CD test. They passed!

Raid your local Dollar Tree stores today!

Didn't even notice that! I guess I should read packages and instructions once in a while.

Personally I wouldn't boil these MFs even if they say so. Especially how everyone else seems to universally say that very hot water might be bad for MF. Maybe they printed those instructions at some mountain-top factory or something where the elevation is 8000 ft and water boils at 70 C. :D

I picked one up last week. I got a blue one, they don't feel NEARLY as nice as the ones I got from JTInternational. I don't know what tests to perform, but i'll search and try it out. If not good for waxing etc, they should be good for door arches etc.

You Americans should come up to Canada, and get our Dollar Store MF Towels! Its 50% cheaper!!!

If they are indeed good, I would be happy to raid the local dollar store and ship large lots to the states!

Just speak up!

Mama Mia! I have 2 Dollar Tree store here...Will report later today.

I'll fill the pot with water, place it on the stove to boil and go to town. :D

The original reference was to "Dollar Tree Store", then reference was made to "Dollar Store". In our area, we have several of this type of store, Dollar General, Dollar Zone, Dollar Tree.

Was it "Dollar Tree" where you found these? The people at the Dollar Tree here suggested I try Wal*Mart as they didn't carry them.:nixweiss Hey, at least they tried to help. We always are a little behind either coast here in the Midwest. Sometimes that isn't all bad.;)
