Does Zaino really work this well? (Z5 Pro vs. Klasse)

....there are several factors I would consider before making a final verdict on a product. A quick "garden hose" demo from someone I don't know using unknown methods to prep, apply, maintain, etc. is hardly conclusive IMHO. I will say that some don't find KSG all that durable with simply 1 or even 2 coats but they say results can dramatically change with a couple more (making sure to leave ample time between each for curing). ….one of those “factors” I would think about. Either way, I would recommend you do a thorough search on each and draw your own conclusions.

On a side note, I have used Zaino sealants for years (i.e. Z-5/pro, Z-2/pro) and while I felt they were decent products with good longevity, the ability to last several months is not a characteristic that is rare in the market (especially these days). The 2 coats of my $16 FK1000P I applied on my DD back in October is still “beading” today (except the roof that only had one coat. ….an observation I recently discovered a couple of others have shared about this product). At any rate, I personally feel it surpasses most products I have tried (incld. Zaino Z2/Z5) in regard to its ability to shed contaminants. ….one of several traits I value in a wax/sealant.

I always consider the source of the information/opinions/reviews I read. Reputation, attitude toward products/technologies/differing opinions in general (open-mindedness), experience, etc. are all things that influence what value I place on an individual’s input. Personally, I’ve read enough reviews to know that in many cases it’s a “YMMV” kind of thing. As long as you find what works for you, then that’s all that matters.

The quarter and right front door in that video look pretty dead. Still nice beading on the other panels for 6 months old.

Never used another sealant besides Zaino so I can't comment otherwise BUT I will say from my own personal experience.

I bought a brand new Altima in February, which at the time I clayed and applied two coats of Zaino Z2/Z5. This is the ONLY product that's touched the paint since than, to present day. I've been washing the car by going through the harsh touch-less places every 7-10 days and so far she still beads water.

I am impressed knowing that it's still on there.

Both are the finest products you can buy, and I have never had anything outlast either of them. Zaino or Klasse are top shelf products, Zaino gets the nod because they have an entire lineup to maintain and clean.
