Disappointing products

Meguiars Supreme Shine Protectant- way too shiny.

Engine Gunk Degreaser- excess residue would not rinse off.

Mothers B2B needs heavy pressure and multiple applications on faded plastics. It's not a dressing per se, but a restorer.

Can't imagine what could be wrong with Poli Seal...

Disappointing for me:

- Zaino Z2Pro - beautiful, durable but lacks physical protection

- Finishing polishes which are unable to finish down flawlessly on BMW Jet Black or Honda Nighthawk Black

- Scholl W6 & W9 waxes - unimpressive looks, average durability (they are updated since)

- 3M Trizact Compound - this product is a liar; it fills like nothing else I've seen

I tried P21s on the Jag in place of Souveran, and it was simply *wrong* on that particular car. Too bright/reflective, much like #16 only without the durability.

I wasn't wowed by TOL's Trade Secret either. I thought it'd be just like Souveran, but nah...just looked different and not in a way I liked.

Guess that when I want *Souveran* on something I should just use that.

About the only other thing I was disappointed with was OCP, and that's just me; I like a much shorter work-time. Couldn't get it to finish out 100% hologram-free via rotary either, but that's probably just my skill level. I can certainly understand if somebody else thinks it's great.

..3M Perfect-It Compound

Which one?

I still like the PI-III RC 05933 for some things.

MY WIFE__VERY DISAPPOINTING !!!!!!!

LMAO, might want to pull out the receipt and exchange the wife :help:

NXT 2.0 Wax, didn't really see much of a difference in the result of shine and durability.

Optium metal polish - good results, but pain to remove and break down.

What were you expecting when you bought Megs Supreme Shine? A matte finsh?

I too found the Megs NXT 2.0 hard to work with and did not like it.

A glossy finish,

not an extremly shiny and cheap looking grease pool on my dashboard.

I will also throw in Rejex. It is an okay product, but overpriced compared to competing products that produce similiar results.

Zaino - not near as good protection as carnauba from bird droppings and acid rain.

Meg's spray wax. - really to hard to apply

Which Meguiars Spray wax are you referring to?
