Lord isnt that the truth. Best thing about the next election is that blabbering idiot will be out of Washington.

Yeah, when Hillary loses, she is out of the senate too, right?

Let's not send this thread slide into locked obscurity because of politics, OK?

Tort

(libertarian, so IMO, everyone on Capitol Hill is an idiot. :D)

Agreed Tort. Also agree on everyone on the Hill being an idiot. ;)

Love the Thomas Jefferson quote by the way...I went to his school in Charlottesville.

Yeah, I am leaning more and more to the libertarian party too.

I'm adding my name to the list of "The disappointed". Clear Seal was my first Zaino purchase, but I bought into the hype and ordered a bottle.

In the spring, I clayed my car, then went over it with some left over Liquid Glass Pre Wax Cleaner. The next morning, I applied the CS.

That week, it rained as I was driving and I was smiling at the prospect fo the beading. Initially, it was fine but after just a few minutes, no more beading. More like puddling.

The next weekend, I applied CS again. This time, I put it on much thicker thinking I had been too conservative. It looked great on my metallic silver DeVille. But, with the next rain, the puddles not beads, returned.

So, the next weekend I pulled out my LG and put it on my car. About once a month, I appy a coat of CS and will continue to until I use it up.

My first experience with CS was a major disappointment. No more Zaino products for me.

/flame suit on. Burn me.

Yes.. A bit HMM indeed. The beading dies off after a few minutes? I find that very hard to believe. Defective product, perhaps?

If the beading died off that quickly in the rain I'd suspect it was dirty rain. Any dirt on the surface will affect beading. I have CS over Z5pro on my wheels and it's holding up fine. Very water repellent-it reacts a bit differently than Z2pro or Z5pro tho.

My experience with CS has been good. I'v applied it to numerous cars but I have never had the chance to see long term durability as they always get redone.

On my car however, I polished the roof with FP II, IPA wipe, ZAIO on blue edge Metabo, 1 coat of CS with a foam app. I applied it in mid june, so about 3.5 months. Its beading nicely, albeit not as uniform as the first month. The beads are tall, water sheets off great during washes.

I applied UPGP on the hood of my car 2 weeks ago and honestly, the beading of the CS (@ 3.5 mnths) is more impressive than the UPGP. UPGP beads are more consistently symetrical, but theyre relatively flat compared to the CS beads.

I don't know, that really doesnt mean anything just my .02.

I finally saw the black 740 today. I washed it with ONR and used Clear Seal to protect the paint on July 2nd. .

Scott, I thought you traded CS (implying that you didn’t like it back in April).

Did you reconsider? I remember this, because I wanted in on the trade, but was a little to slow on the keyboard.

You got a deal! If it is 4oz or more.

I know you will put the AJ to good use.

This bottle is just collecting dust and the little I have use was on the chrome wheels.

Do you want the FMJ QD too.

I wasn't getting a full bottle of AJ, so Edwin didn't get a full bottle of CS. Plus I had some left from the 2 oz sample someone else sent me.

Sal Zaino himself reached out to TigerMike and I supplied to Mike the tech line's phone number but Mike has yet to call.

It's going to be hard for Sal to make things right if Mike does not meet him half way and start a conversation.

How can Sal "make things right" if Mike just doesn't like the product? Will he get a refund?

I myself think the Zaino products are excellent, but I just can't figure out the CS...it seems to add nothing to Z2/Z5, it actually seems to make them less slick...so I can't figure out how to use it...if I want a quick way to spruce up Z2/Z5 I just use Z8. I suppose if I used CS as a standalone maybe it would make sense.
