Hi and thank you for entertaining my frantic call for help.
I am attemting to us PI III machine glaze for the first time. I am using in an attempt to remove swirls without the use of fillers, as found in SMR. My prep is for using Z2 on a Carbon Black M5.
So here is my question and planned routine.
1 DAWN wash
2.Pinnacle poly clay
3. dawn wash ( should I use Z7?)
4. PI III machine glaze, 05937, pc, using yellow CMA pad
5.Z7 wash
6. Z2 etc. yada yad and so on..........
My question is this.
I have average swirls, not to large and not to deep. They are the result of my dealer washing my car, despite my instructions not to. We have all heard similar stories. I want to know does anyone think the PI III will be strong enough ( I usually use PI III rubbing compound followed by SMR) to do the same quality job as my PI III rubbing compound SMR routine? Any advice is much appreciated.
Thanks everyone.
Bruce
