Detailing Dynamics Products

I thought I had tried just about every high-end product out there. Now my buddy with his NSX tells me that the "hot ticket" for car care products out there on their web site are made by a detailing outfit in NY called Detailing Dynamics. Their web site (www.detailingdynamics.com) describes a 3-step process that is essentially compounding, fine polishing and a sealant. What astounds me are the prices for these products:

1. $25 for 8oz of step 1 polish

2. $20 for 8oz of step 2 polish

3. $25 for 8oz of step 3 sealant

for the kit that includes a couple of applicators and microfiber towel--$99!!!

Has anyone tried these products and if so, are they as good as Zaino, Klasse, Pinnacle, etc?

Looks like appealing products, but freak no way am I gonna spend that much! It comes down to process as a major factor. Try a search, I remember someone posting about the company.

Like I said in a previous post I was at DD a few months back. The place is so clean you can eat off the floor and the cars that were there made my mouth drop.(I think they get 400 for a detail)and worth every penny, but the detailing products are good but I think on par with the Souvern TS and high end carnubas.

I did a search prior to this post and the only discussion centered around the work of the shop, not the products they sold. My buddy is going to try them out this weekend on his NSX. I'll let you know how it turns out.

I clicked on their web site and then clicked on links, then clicked on their on-line store. You can see all the products of the DyNA line there. I saw the 3 step products as well as a spray QD and an AIO. Spendy.....and they didn't even list the size if the bottle of their AIO! I suspect it is probably an 8oz as well. There was a shampoo and a few other things. It would be interesting to see how the products perform for someone no connected to the shop, but the cost! Did anyone checkout that Aston-Martin? Sweet! Perhaps your buddy could give us some eval and pics?

I am eager to see Tory's dark purple NSX this spring after the DD routine.

I offered my garage and any of my products he wanted to try.

I am sort of glad he picked this line so I didn't have to spend the cash to chedk it out! Not cheap.

Hope it works out for him:)

Hi, New to the forum and caught this thread...

I just purchased the 3 stage kit from these guys and will be trying it out on my car soon.

I'll let everyone know my results if interested.

That is some pricey stuff! Normally, price (within reason) is no object but I think I will wait until someone here tries them out.

Looks like this outfit does real good work!

has anyone looked at their 'Tips' Pages? IMHO, really good advice on things compared to what you normally see on line (except for here of course!). No matter what their prices, they do seem to really care about doing things right and advising people on how to do things right vs. most detail shops sites I've seen.

I have tried some of their cleaner wax that they have, it is pretty good but poor longevity in my honest opinion. The shine of their products is really good but you need something that lasts in my honest opinion.

To be fair, a cleaner/wax product tends to be a compromise since you are asking it to clean as well as protect. Maybe their 3 step process is more durable. :nixweiss

I think that is a fair comment, I know that in my area many are very happy with their service and quality, I have seem some cars detailed from there and they do look very good, I assume if they use what they are selling it is very good.
