Detailing Dynamics Products

Here is what my buddy said about the products he used on his NSX:

1. The microfiber towels included in the kit were awful. They scratched the paint every time he used them, so he stopped and used other towels.

2. The polish was relatively mild and took quite a while to remove the swirls. It also left a great deal of blue residual dust all over the place. Polish was applied using a PC.

3. He used up all 8oz of the polish in one day's work getting it ready to put in a show.

4. Overall he said he was pretty well pleased with the results but the process wasn't as satisfying as he had hoped.

He must be one cool dude!

I'd have stopped as soon as I saw the towel scretching the paint.

There are other, less expansive alternatives out there that WE use here daily. I guess people are always looking for the MAGIC formula. m2c

I know what you are saying but I wouldn't of have bought their products to begin with. $100? Yes, I would stop and send the order back for a full refund! :D

BTW, did you get any pictures?

I don't know why you guys seem to be hung up on the price. Zymol and others are in the same range from what I have seen.

So far I have only done a small section of my car with the kit and the results were excellent. Swirl marks are completely gone. The towels did not scratch my car at all. I've had other branded microfiber's that did though.

Tried to take some pics but the car is black and could not get good closeups.

More results to follow

It isn't the price only, it is a combination of the price and unfamiliarity with the products. I didn't pop for a $70 jar of Souveran until I had tried it via a trade.
