Today I finally started detailing the engine bay on my Alfa Romeo Milano racecar. Attached is a picture before I cleaned up for the day. I am kinda disappointed, because the engine degreaser I used ruined the hi-temp silver paint I had put on the valve covers... oh well, I was planning on powdercoating them red anyway
The specifics (on the engine)
-3.0L 12v SOHC All aluminum V6
-Ported & Polished heads (Stage III)
-High rev valve springs
-Autodelta cams (just a little milder than a full race cam)
-JetHot coated Equal length tubular headers (with side exit exhaust, no cat)
-10.5:1 compression pistons
-Modified fuel & ignition computers
-Larger Air Flow Meter w/ K&N cone (I'm working on a heat shield stil)
-Magnecore 8.5mm plug wires (no horsepower gain, but they look cool!
)
-Redline 10w40 synthetic oil
And here are some pictures of the rather sparse interior
