That's odd..
I detailed a 2002 Buick LeSabre this past Tuesday.
It was for a friend of my wife. I charged her 60, but she gave me 75. The car was spotless on the inside, but the outside was the usual thick brake dust, and mild tar on the paint. Nothing simple green HD, DG All wheel cleaner and a pressure washer couldn't deal with. It took about 4 hours to to a mini detail.
I could've charged her more, but she helped out some of my family members when they lost their house to a fire. So I didn't mind. Plus she's big in the community and she'll refer me some people.
It would be great if in my area you could ask and receive 250 plus for a detail but you wouldn't make a living asking these prices. Not enough people would pay it to stay in business.
Most "full" details in my area are from 125-maybe 200 max. Of course this is without paint correction and such. If you detailers out there can command the big bucks more power to ya. :goodjob
About Folex, I bought a gallon at Lowes. It was under 16.00.
