Hey Guys...

I just got back to Orlando after DF. WOW what a great time. AG really outdid themselves this year. It was finally great to meet Steve and Pockets in person.

One of the best things was meeting folks that you have chatted with for several years. Its great to put a name with a face.

Looking forward to next year already :)

Heading back home on Monday...

The web-cams did finally work for me.
Granted, they have a humongous facility, but it didn't appear that a large number of people were in attendance.
I was guessing that they would have 200 to 300 and if you don't count vendors and employees, it looks like 50 to 100 would be stretching it.
Was AG happy with the size of the crowd?
They had to put a tremendous amount of work and expense into the project.

Anyway, it sounds like those that were there enjoyed themselves. :bigups:bigups:bigups

It really was thinning out by 2-2:30, but I'd say there was easily 150 people prior to that. Can't answer for AG in regards to how they feel about the turnout, but it was a great time.

It is the third year and I would guess that it was larger this year than last year. An event has to start somewhere and I am one that would like to attend one day in the future. Whenever that may be is another guess.

it was a very long day, but it was well worth it to meet some of the members as well as Troy & Sheila:rockon

It was great meeting you Pat. I enjoyed our conversations and thanks for the tips. Have a safe trip home tomorrow.

It was great meeting you as well Steve. Thanks for taking the time to talk with me extensively. I really appreciate the freebies. :yourrock Especially the "prototype" soap. It will be very interesting to use. :D

Amazingly enough, Pockets even did some work. Just messing with you Pockets! It was great to meet you as well. Good luck with your future plans. You are off to a good start.

Pockets was busy, but one time Steve was looking for him and we located him.......over by the custom bikes and the models! It's not like you could blame him though!

I got to visit with Troy and Sheila again, which is always a pleasure. At least for me! :D

I spent a good amount of time "bugging" Rick and Sam of Four Star. It is always very interesting to talk with these guys. I even got to talk "cars" with Sam. He had his red TT Supra there with some nice mods. :bigups

I also want to thank zoomzoom mazda 5 for driving yesterday. It was very much appreciated, especially with me only having 2 hours of sleep! :surrender

not as many people there as i thought there wouyld be. Are they at Barratt-jackson?

Turnout over the course of the entire day was over 300 in attendance and thousands watching online which caused the live feeds to get jammed up. My mom even tried logging on and called to let me know that her and my dad couldn't see us.

The parking areas was packed with vehicles for show and the vendors were very happy with the turnout.

We had a mini employee meeting at the end of the day once everyone else had left and Max was pleased with Detail Fest III and how our staff stepped up to the plate when it started getting really busy.

It was a great day and was better than we had anticipated. Here are some pictures for those that were not able to make it.
