As for my take on working for a dealership, I'd stay away from it unless the area you work in absolutely cannot support a self-employed mobile detailer. Dealerships will give you their take on everything and force you to get jobs done A.S.A.P. no matter the end result. Yes, you have steady business and an ensured income, but you can be making 5-10 times more by doing it yourself, plus you can use the products you want, work on your own time, establish good, long relationships with your customers, and be much more at ease.
