Dealership detailing and washing?

Martin, would you care to share all the products you use for your work? Every car you post a pic of is very impressive. I'd like to know what products are used to achieve those great results. Thanks.

As for my take on working for a dealership, I'd stay away from it unless the area you work in absolutely cannot support a self-employed mobile detailer. Dealerships will give you their take on everything and force you to get jobs done A.S.A.P. no matter the end result. Yes, you have steady business and an ensured income, but you can be making 5-10 times more by doing it yourself, plus you can use the products you want, work on your own time, establish good, long relationships with your customers, and be much more at ease.

I like what P&B said about “work on your own time, establish good, long relationships with your customers, and be much more at ease.”
I do this on the side as PT work, all of my customers are women and they are very loyal about who wash’s their car. I pick up their cars at work and bring them back; some drop theirs off on Saturdays for wax jobs but for the most part I just pick up the cars and return them. They all have a certain day they want the car washed and what every you do for a woman make sure to vacuum out the trunk and clean around trunk opening, seems there is nothing that makes them madder than leaning over in the trunk and getting their dress dirty. I’ve done some quick jobs for local dealerships but it was just that QUICK. No pains were taken at all because they don’t care it took you 3 hours to make it look new again. Good luck in whatever direction you go and never sell yourself short on anything in life.
Martin no disrespect intended here but maybe you should consider changing the name of your business to San Antonio Mobile Quick Wash, no more time than what you claim you spend there can’t be much on the detail part.

Just my .02
