Cquartz Fabric & Leather

Hey Corey, it's Jeff. I'm glad to see you here, please pop over once and a while. You have always been a great member / poster. Been a while since I have seen you.

I know you will be able to get things on track.

Your wrong.... I've been texting with him and testing solutions and sending him the products needed.

Once again this is Autogeeks forum and I do not frequent it. I'm here today because I've been pointed this way by others that saw these posts.

I am not associated with Autogeek or Autopia. I at one time sponsored a forum owned by 3D and they gave that subforum to Autogeek.

There are wonderful people I care for at AG and Autopia but my business is not associated with theirs. My customers call and text me and are answered at almost anytime day or night.

Best regards,
Corey

Hi Jeff! I will certainly try too! Really great to see you and I appreciate the kind words.

Honestly it's wild for me to come over and see what's going on as the people I talk to every day through email, on phone, and all our channels - our track record is very much in a wonderful place.

It seems like two different worlds!!!

I'm confused at what's going on negatively towards me in a place that I don't "exist". People that don't deal with me at all are making judgements...

I wish guys that only see the forums saw the rest of the world too! Detailing facebook groups, messenger, text, phone, Instagram, there's all kinds of free market channels where it's just been a natural migration to.

Dan,

I get calls all the time from people that simply need help or have questions of all kinds that I'm thrilled to help with EVEN completely unrelated to CarPro and certainly of course many that have Carpro questions but purchase through AG or DI and come to me after they buy from them. I'm happy to help anyone I can!

For instance, the guy that's bashing me like crazy here in multiple threads with trouble with reload has never been a customer of mine! (Well not that I'm aware) BUT I will lose hundreds of dollars to go help him! Craziness man... Meanwhile he's calling me greedy! I understand he probably just doesn't know me and has made assumptions (or maybe I'm just nieve)

Anyway... To answer you-
If you ever use a CarPro Product, a can of 1,000$ wax, turtle wax, Ultima, Scholl Concepts, "wipe new" (or whatever that stuff is called) or anything in between from anywhere on this planet and call me with questions I'll answer the phone or call you right back! It's that easy :)

I am extremely knowledgable on the CarPro line and help with development as well as speaking with Avi regularly and all anyone ever had to do is call my phone and ask me and I'm here to help! It's my pleasure!

Here is maybe what I didn't effectively communicate I think: I spend every minute on this - to the point that just recently for the first time in years I get more than a few hours sleep at night. (That's the short version)

So with only 24 hours in a day it is a disservice and unfair to my customers who I'm so blessed to have and so grateful for - for me to go try to serve the customers of someone else.

ANYONE is welcome to call me anytime for anything and I'll do my best to help!

Sincerely,
Corey

I'm still finding it somewhat annoying that you/me have had to spend dozens of hours fixing problems.

Well, I see Avi is looking at this thread, lets see what he has to say. (btw avi, while you're looking, please look at my reload problem thread.)

What else do you want us to say? the coat spray wasnt well wiped off since the leather used on is deeply pores, this is silica base coat that must wipe well after spray on , on leather not to leave to cure or react, can be apply fast and wipe off fast.
this product, Cquartz F&L is discontinued now , we did separate formulas per each target. its still very good for Fabric coat only.
i see here in the later pics posted that APC removed the spots , so this is good thing to see the leather dye is still there.
i believe Corey is in touch with XxBoostinxX to treat his problem in best manner and to compensate him if needed.
about the Reload i didnt see your post but you can contact the store you bought it from , or contact Corey and he will replace you the bottle free of charge .

Which pH cleaner were you using Swanicyouth? The Sonus All-In-One?

I'm attempting to to use Lexol, a tooth brush (suggested by Corey), and a little steamer. It seems to have helped in the stitching some. But I have two high spots that won't go away.

I tried to use OPC with a foaming trigger on the high spots and they didn't budge.

You don't have a DA brush by chance do you? I've found the long hair ones work awesome for anything leather intensive.

This is my fault Corey. I meant to come on Friday and let everyone know that you and I have been texting back and forth on a solution.

I just want to let everyone know that Corey has been kind enough to send me two products that we think could help with removal. As well as volunteer his wife's car to testing the exact same F&L I am having problems with, to see what he thinks will and won't work for removal. And for all this I thank him!

Yes, I sure do. This crossed my mine the other day when Swaincyouth mentioned the swissvax brush was nylon. I will give it a try and see if it helps on the high spots.

Did you ever resolve this problem ?

It sounds like mold growth. Is this problem specific to this product ? did carpro ever admit it was or they said you are the first ? its off the market now so its obviously for a reason.

The only reason I think mold is because you said it goes away when you clean it and then reappears. Leather Masters has a mold product that you could try if you never resolved this.
