Collinite: Which product and number of coats?

I came across a bottle of 845 in my Dad's stash. He used to detail his Miata religiously, but that was years ago. The wax is supposed to be liquid, right? Well the wax had obviously experienced seperation. I shook the bottle several times which seemed to help matters. Is it still good to use? I'd like to try it out.

#845 goes a funny jelly consistency when left to stand, even a slight separation.

Shake it mercilessly for 2 mins - it should go completely liquid. It's good to go. :D

If you're using one of the pastes, just stick with one layer. The holograms I've seen occurred on very hot days, but they were nonetheless there. I would never attempt to layer one of the paste collinites again after that experience. Like said earlier, there's not much benefit to layering them anyway. 915 with Z8 on top and as a booster seems to be a popular combination. I've also used 915 with Werkstat Carnuaba Glos as a booster, which looked great as well.
