Collinites' 845IW has a great "pop" factor also, and is quite durable & extremely Easy to apply/remove when shaken as well! ... Collinite Wax Products* :: Choice of the Pros :: Auto, Marine and Industrial ... a great stand alone product after a wash ... or on top of anything (FMJ, DG, Zaino, etc..)AlexRuiz said:476S looks better than what the durability might suggest. It will bring pop no doubt.
I always wonder about that. It seems like Collinite is liked by a lot of people, and you always read/hear good objective reviews about it, but you're always hesitant to pull the trigger and try it.yakky said:Collinite is one of those waxes that there is very little hype about. It performs much better than 99% of the hyped products.

Thanks for the info. Collinite has always been on my wish list. I just haven't done it. Perhaps I'll give it a try this SummerAccumulator said:Well, IMO it's cheap enough that most people can afford to gamble on a can. Even if it somehow doesn't work out it'd still be great for *something*, not that I can imagine it not working out.
The people who see an major differenece between, say, Zymol Vintage and Souveran probablay aren't gonna be knocked out by how 476S works, but the rest of us will pretty much agree with AlexRuizand Yakky, it looks better than most would expect from a "durability wax". I'd be utterly astounded if somebody said they preferred the look of DC#3 and there's no question the 476S will last ages longer. Gotta admit that it doesn't last as long for me as it does for Bigpoppa3346 though, at least not on something that's outside 24/7. But it'll still get through an Ohio winter just fine.
Just apply the Collinite very thin so it's not a bear to buff off. If it *is* hard to buff off you used way too much. And even then it's not like it'll be some big workout (I've experimented with goofy-thick applications and I honestly don't understand how anybody can say it's that tough to get off).
