I'm not sure if this is going to be considered a silly question or now, but I'm willing to face the fire if I have to.
Last year I picked up some foam pads (compound & polish) for my PC, Buffmaster was the brand. The only thing I could get the bad surface scratching off of my F150 with was PI II RC, FI II didn't make a dent. The truck turned out nice, but after reading all of the threads here, I thought FI II would make some type of difference.
I'm thinking about trying the CMA pads that everyone talks about to see if this is my problem, but I'm wondering if they're really worth the money. Does the pad really make that much of a difference or is the PC just not going to create enough heat to really let the FI or PI II do as much as they could?
Thanks in advance,
Darcy
