We are a certified Venture dealer in Toronto Canada. The venture film is by far the best film, all OEM film for on all the factory vehicles dropped 3M and switched to Venture. It sounds like something etced your film. I have never seen water do this to the film, but I have seen water etch windows so bad i need #0000 steel wool to remove. And you can't use that on the film. So water etching it may be. If you go to ANY certified venture dealer they can help you. You don't need to deal with the same company. The installer may view it as "not his/her fault". If it's something like acid caused it technically it's not their fault. BUT there is a way to handle your customers. The very least thing to be done would be to charge cost for the material and no labour. Then it's no loss for them just good customer service. The way I would deal with it would be to replace it the film. No charge. Make the customer happy. Their car is the pride and joy. Customer service is #1 with us. It's better for me to work it out and to get a rebate through our distributer than make a customer unhappy.
