Clear bra waterspotting

That looks like a typical hard water etching.. I've seen that on alot of home windows with tint from sprinklers and such. The only cure i found was to replace the tint.

How hard is the water in your area, at your work do you park next to sprinklers?

I've finally had the dealer remove mine. The installer was a third party done prior to vehicle delivery....and of course he made nothing but empty promises prior to vanishing. I must say, the vehicle looks much better without it. One of the theories offered was the possibility it was spotted by jet fuel as my car is parked very close to the end of an active runway while at work.

I will have to agree that it does look better without it. The vanishing act that the installers do must be part of their training course. This particular installer did 3 cars for me and did not have the courtesy to even look at the car. With that kind of business behavior, his business will probably go down in flames. :grrr

We are a certified Venture dealer in Toronto Canada. The venture film is by far the best film, all OEM film for on all the factory vehicles dropped 3M and switched to Venture. It sounds like something etced your film. I have never seen water do this to the film, but I have seen water etch windows so bad i need #0000 steel wool to remove. And you can't use that on the film. So water etching it may be. If you go to ANY certified venture dealer they can help you. You don't need to deal with the same company. The installer may view it as "not his/her fault". If it's something like acid caused it technically it's not their fault. BUT there is a way to handle your customers. The very least thing to be done would be to charge cost for the material and no labour. Then it's no loss for them just good customer service. The way I would deal with it would be to replace it the film. No charge. Make the customer happy. Their car is the pride and joy. Customer service is #1 with us. It's better for me to work it out and to get a rebate through our distributer than make a customer unhappy.

Thanks for the comments. As I said I removed it since the company would not even respond back. It seems that unlike you money in the pocket is number one with them and customer service and satisfaction be dammed. :sosad

Your car was parked at the dealer? Do they have a sprinkler system? It would not suprise me if that is how you got hard water etching on the car.
