...before the bad weather hits. We've had awesome weather all November here in Buffalo (only 1 or 2 days of rain in the last 2 weeks, been right around 50F too :thumbup

, but it's going to get nasty in a few days, and it's gonna stay that way until Spring. I figured I'd give my car it's last *enjoyable* Sunday morning bath today.
The car has 60,1xx miles on it, not too many for an 02'. I try to limit my driving to 50-60 miles a week. The thing is a total gas pig, I get ~16 mpg on premium, mostly around town driving. Occasionally I can pull off 18 mpg when going down a hill with the wind in my favor!
I detailed it a month ago, polished with Poli-Seal and topped with Collinite 845. Last week, I gave it a final coat of 476s so it will be well protected from the salt and winter grime.
Today, I simply washed it with Optimum Car Wash (great stuff!), cleaned the wheels, tires and wheel wells, and dressed them with Armor All and Hyper Dressing, respectively. Door jambs and engine got their usual clean with ONR, and I gave the interior a quick vac. It might sound like an easy process, but I work so slow it still took me 3 hours!
Got my Blizzaks lookin' nice and black!
As you can see, my car is not swirl free. I figure I'll go nuts on it in the spring once I get some PDR work done.
I wipe down the engine at pretty much every wash with ONR. It's not concours winning spotless, but it's pretty nice for a non garaged daily driver.
No, that isn't dust or dirt. I don't dress the engine, so some of the pieces look a bit "dry" with the sun at the angle that it is.
A quick interior pic, I keep it very clean. Weathertech mats to save my carpets from winter's wrath!
Hope everyone had a great weekend!
