This is the difference between the wholesale world and that of retail. I used to source battery chargers and batteries from overseas for those Mattel kid ride on cars, we got the chargers for 0.75c and the batteries for $3.50, Walmart sells the same charger for $48.00 and the battery for $55.00. Someone somewhere is making 640% profit for those chargers !
