I was trying to remove some paint overspray on the trunk using the Blue Clay Bar without much success. I then tried using the Red Clay Bar, as soon as I started using the Red Clay Bar I could feel some abrasiveness under the Clay Bar.
I stopped right away, cleaned up and now the over spray is removed but I have small surface scratches on my clear coat.
I used plenty of lube, went slowly but now I have made a small scratched area on my trunk.
The scratches run from front to rear on the trunk.
I want to try and remove the scratches and I am looking for some guidance on what I can do?
I don't have a PC so this will have to be repaired by hand.
I was going to try and use some DACP to see if that would remove the scratches.
Should I use the DACP by hand going in a Front to Back motion?
How do you know when the DACP is "Broken Down"?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
