Had the pleasure to work on this 1992 Civic. I was surprised as when the customer described it as "just a civic". When he pulled up, I see a turbo/IC, customer interior, full bodykit, big rims, ect. Very nice.
Anyways, it was a nice relaxing day today. Total detail time only took about 4 hours! I made record time for this detail.
Process for exterior:
Wash
Hand polished with SSR2
Topped with Souverian
Tires got some "dress it right"
Process for interior:
Vacuum
Scrub mats, as well as hose them down
Didn't touch the seats
Dash and other plastics got "natural look" by poorboys
Glass was scrubbed with a microfiber then buffed out with anouther MF
Engine Bay:
Cool (Stupid turbo timer kept the car running for almost 5 minutes after I took the key out)
Degrease with "Gunk"
Dress with Hot Shine
Engine components dresseed with the Water based dressing "Dress it Right"
