Chime in About Optimum Polish

With recent good reviews from this polish, can it be true that this one product polish can replace all those others by simply switching different grades of foam pads ?, have we tried other polishes by simply switching grades of pads also ? I find this hard to believe especially from the complex minds of fellow Autopians.

You can adjust #80 with pad choice too.

Regardless, Optimum Polish is the real deal.

To this with Optimum Polish and a Meguiars polishing pad via PC.

Not to hijack the thread, but is Mothers Power Polish similar to Optimum in that pad choice will affect the outcome, I have done a few searches and it supposed to have a long working time as well.

Does Optimum go clear at all?

I used it yesterday, and it was still white after about 3 minutes on 6????

Im not familiar with Mothers PP. Ive used Opt mostly on darks, and neautrals, but to have it go clear would be something for me to experience. It actually just stays "wet"....

Love it - works as well as SSR2.5 on swirls and polishes paint better IMHO. Minimal dusting (or splatter with the rotary) and leaves a surface ready for your LSP.

Optimum polish and the wax seems to be the "new" thing around here.....like SO many before it.

i'm sure its a great product, and will likely try it out,, if it comes available readily in canada. but i'm not one of these people that have to rush out and get the latest and greatest trend....i tend to curb my enthusiasm at times.

and,, if i do get a rotary for compounding, and correction work,,it sounds like a product to start on a rotary with.

Optimum Polish is teh s#!t.

Infinite working time, no dusting, broad range of cuts based on speed/pad/pressure/working time, high/wet gloss, easily worked in any temperature (even in direct sun), and you don't use that much. Oh yeah, the price can't be beat for what it does.

I'm in love with this stuff and no I DON'T work for them :).
