Chime in About Optimum Polish

I'll chime is and say yes it is a wonderful polish for medium-light cut use. For all the reason's stated.

It'll be interesting to see if other manufacturers start to offer products with the same capabilities (low/no dusting and infinite work time) in particular

So if it doesnt go clear, how do ya know when it has broke down enough?

I was using it, and just figured "this has to be long enough" and wiped it off

Everyone's been raving about Optimum Polish so I had to include it with my last order. My question is..............Is it possible to use this polish by hand?

Yes. I've used it with a microfiber towel to spot polish out paint transfers and minor blemishes and it worked just fine.

OCP is definitely a great product. It can be used via rotary and foam pad as the only polishing step because it finishes so nicely. It can also be used via Cyclo on paint in good shape to produce a phenomonal shine. JBM, if you use just the right amount, which is not much, it does finish out nearly clear. When I use it on my Cyclo, I put dabs that are a little larger than a pea on both pads. When I am done polishing, I mist OCW on the panel and wipe with a MF. You can remove the polish residue and wax at the same time.

Not to hijack the thread, but is Mothers Power Polish similar to Optimum in that pad choice will affect the outcome, I have done a few searches and it supposed to have a long working time as well.

Yes, MPP works the same.
