Both of the descriptions are almost identical and was wondering which one was the closest to S and W.

I've been topping the Extreme Top Coat Sealant with Butter Wet Wax, Natty's Blue,Souveran etc. with great results. You can use the Top Coat Sealant as a stand alone LSP as well. It's up to you. I love the Pro Detailer QD. Smells like bubble gum!

i have been using fourstar ultimate paint protection topped with natty's white on my black car. can i use instead the top coat sealant topped with butter wet wax and have the same look? how many layer of top coat do you aplly? is it like UPP which we should apply 3 layers topped with 2 layers of nattys? can butter wet wax be applied also by layers?

i'm a little bit confused on what CG products shall i order, i want something to remove heavy swirl marks and scratches but that contains no silicones or waxes... what CG products could replace menzerna powergloss, intensive polish and final finish? as anyone tried their EXTREME DEPTH LIQUID CARNAUBA CREME WAX + X-Seal?

Look into top of theline products and HI tempt if you want value

Meguiars in gallon sizes along with Automagic and Carbrite make some good products that are comparably priced to Chemical Guys. Most larger cities have local distributorship also so you don't have to pay shipping and can get it imediately. If gallon sizes is what a person is looking for their are many options that easily compete with Chemical Guys. It appears Chemical Guys have some nice products at a good value but the idea is nothing unique. :D

I think the Extreme Synthetic Spray Detailer -Streak Free Super Shine Quick Detailer without any carnauba is the closest thing to S&W.

Would you say that this product compares to Spray and Wipe??? I am almost out of S and W and am looking for a replacement.

I'd actually say that the CG's PRO-DETAILER+1XCarnauba -Quick Detail Spray & Waterless Wash is close to Poorboys S&W. They are very obviously not the same product, but have similar purposes.

I use S&W and CG's for the same things- Waterless Wash Primarily, and they both work well for it. I have not used the CG's Spray Wax or their Synthetic Spray Detailer, so I can not comment or compare them to S&W.

The CG's Waterless wash appears to clean, but also leave behind something that makes the paint "pop" a little, while S&W pretty much cleans.

CG's definately has the better price at $21.95/gallon compared to PB's S&W at $30.95/gallon.

Still, I'll likely continue to use both.

I've found that where one of the products may fall a little short, the other will usually take care of it, and vise-versa.

I have no complaints against CG's Waterless Wash or PB's S&W. They are both my primary "go to" products for regular maintenance, thus I use a lot of each.

The CG Spray Wax/QD (Pink Stuff) cleans well and leaves a very nice shine. I have some Ext Syn Spray Detailer coming next week. I have some Pro Detailer, but have not used it yet.

This thread should die!

I'm seconds away from a massive seizure from the animated emoticon sigantures here

Maybe you should contact Chemical Guys and talk to them about their products and they can recommend what to use for your application. They should know their products better than anyone else. From my understanding, they have very friendly customer service.

Do you top the sealant right away with the wax or let it cure for a while?
