hi, anyone has chemicalguys products? could you make a review of the product and say if you are happy with it or not? i just ordered some products and would like to hear your opinions.

please don't start speculating about chemicalguys and other products, i just care about CG's products :dance
 
What's up corsa! What CG products have you ordered? Are there specific prducts that you're seeking info on? I'm one of the CG Junkies here & I've been quite pleased with the quality of their prducts. I'd be more than happy to give you any info I have on the products I've used.
 
i ordered the MF towels 16"x16", the claybar and lube, and the X-tra Plush 70/30 Waffle Weave Microfiber.

i also asked for the following samples and would like to know if anyone has them, how are they.

Extreme top coat is an awesome product, Smells like vanilla and appplys very thin. Itis a breeze to wipe off...comparable to DP premium surface shield and p21s wax.



havnt tried the Allin 1 polish yet



the synthetic detailer smells awesome..like grapefruit and citrus stuff. this stuff is great. Producesa super slick and glossy finish. i have had minor problems with smearing but nothing a nice plush MF wont fix. This stuff is also very very slippery. Great for claying.



lazer buff works great with PC and rotary. Since it uses diminishing abrasives, u first need to spread it out on a very slow speed so the abrasives are spreadout evnely and uniformly in size. then start working it in until it becomes close to transparent.



i also have lightening carpet cleaning, revive glaze, and leather conditioner.
 
Blktac05, have you used the EXTREME TOP-COAT PAINT SEALANT+ 3X CARNAUBA. I really want to know if this is worth the money for the galon. Does it fill/smooth etc... or just add protection? I'm dying to find some info from someone who has used this product.
 
is EXTREME TOP-COAT PAINT SEALANT+ 3X CARNAUBA a substitute for fourstar ultimate paint protection? i was thinking of selling my UPP and order some EXTREME TOP-COAT PAINT SEALANT+ 3X CARNAUBA instead of it, what do you guys think? and the butter wax can it replace nattys? i want to replace all my products for CG products as i feel they are equally good and cost less!
 
which one is best, PRO-DETAILER+1XCarnauba -Quick Detail Spray & Waterless Carwash OR Extreme Synthetic Spray Detailer -Streak Free Super Shine Quick Detailer?
 
1x Nuba you would use over top of a nuba wax job ...

Extreme over top and acrylic sealant .

Either or for one of their sealants with amino resins + carnuba

I dont think either is " Better " they just have different application settings and different qualities
 
Accroding to CG, they told me Extreme top coat sealant is longer lasting than there magic seal. However i just applied these products and am not sure about longevity but i wouldnt doubt that they are top notch products.



Revive glaze is AWESOME. Especially on black cars. I applied some onto my black prelude and whoo weee...i did a 2x2 section and the area i worked it into was darker and wetter by ALOT. I thought it gave this effect because i didt not wipe it of with a MF, but even after i wiped it off, the darkness and wetness remained.



The carpet cleaner is great too. Spray it on, use a brush, then blot it out and leave it to dry. Similar to folex but i prefer folex because it isnt as foamy as CG.



The leather conditioner is great. It smells like real leather and makes your interior smelling brand new. uhm...not sure but zaino leather conditioner smells the same as CG conditioner. The CG rep told me that they supply the brand Coach with leather conditioner, and the leather conditioner Coach sells i just CG leather conditioner.

Did the Extreme top coat sealant do anything for the appearance of the finish i.e. brighten, or deeper gloss etc.... or does it just apply a skim coat protection?

natty's by butter wet wax

fourstar UPP by extreme top-coat paint sealant

SSR 2.5 by laser buff

SSR 1.0 by CGC-1 ULTRA LIGHT Compound

Klasse AIO by EXTREME ALL-IN-1 POLISH + SHINE & SEALANT

raindance by EXTREME BodyWash & Synthetic Wax/Gloss Enhancer -SHAMPOO

1z leather treatment by CG Leather Conditioner



i think the products i mentioned are pretty much the same, waht do you guys think?
 
Damn all this running around and online ordering ive been doing -- come to find out Chemical Guy's main office is literally 10 minutes from my office :wall



Oh well in 5 years when Ive gone through all my PB & Megs stuff I'll take a trip to CG.
 
Sure u can replace nattys with butter wet wax or you can try there XXX paste wax. I think Klasse AIO was an irreplaceable item in many detailers arsenal. However there have been claims in a reformulation so that is is compliant to VOCs. I have not tried the All in one polish so i wouldnt be able to tell yhou for sure.
 
what's VOCs? here in europe we have a replacement for klasse AIO, it's Grojet 2000 :)

i think i'm going to order pretty much every product CG has to offer ;)
 
i just used some Extreme top coat sealant via pc on my prelude. i used less than an ounce. This stuff spreadsy So easily its not even funny.
