Chemical Guys Petes 53 Ivory Paste Wax?

Has anyone gotten a chance to try this yet? I was playing around with the new P21S wax they just sent me samples off and would like to try these side by side.

Agreed , but you know how the routine is ..... I've got a shop full if stuff ....lol , not a bad thing , but an expensive thing.
 
I just got mine in yesterday, cannot wait to try it. Those black and blue applicators look really nice as well.

I received both my 5050 and 53' yesterday. I'm hoping I find some time this weekend to try out the 53' on the Speed6.



But...my computer's going in for repair, so I won't be able to post any pics until Monday at the earliest. :(

I got 50/50 , Pete's53 and wet mirror finish this week too. I have a velocity red speed6.

Gave my truck its first wash after waxing the truck with Pete's '53 last week. All I can say is that I'm pleasantly surprised. The beading is ridiculous, haven't seen anything like it ever. It was very easy to use the shop vac to blow the entire dry and finish up with a waffle weave. Last, but not least, the slickness left after a week was still very very good. When completey dryed off, it still looked just as good as when I applied it 7 days ago.



All in all, a truly excellent product!



I am curious to read how it compares to 50/50. Perhaps members who have both can do some side-by-side comparisons?

the test product...my new favorite...first of all the peaches and cream smell to it would make me buy it even if it didn't do anything....I was in their shop and I asked the guys if they had a waterless wash like Optimum No Rinse, DP 4 in 1, or PB Spray and Wipe...Mark and Paul just had a grin from ear to ear and grabbed a mf and we went outside to a dirty dark blue suv that was parked outside...sprayed a panel down with the stuff...let it sit just for a second or two (this was the amazing part...you can actually see the product emulsifying and encapsulating dirt!!!! :soscared: ) then you gently wipe down just like you would any other "waterless" wash but this is the interesting part...this stuff actually hazes!!! some kind of polish/glossing agent is left behind that is EASILY buffed to a high shine...its like an AIO in a spray bottle...wash/polish/lsp all in one...although my guess is the gloss it leaves behind is not that durable....it works great as a qd'er, wipes away any polish/wax residue and sling....and is awesome on door jams...gets rid of the dirt and leaves behind a nice shine....not sure exactly what it is made up of...but all I know is I'm picking up a gallon of this stuff as soon as it is available....
