"Something like 3 days ago"...that's the problem. I don't see a specific release date on the website. Just because the first post in this thread was 3 days ago doesn't necessarily mean that the release date coincides.

Oh. I know. That's when I noticed it was on their site. I'm not crazy... but I visited their site once a day for the past like 5 days (I was bored) and had noticed the new product. So I'm assuming they launched it the day it was posted on their site.

:chuckle: Funny, I almost added "what does it smell like" to my list of questions. Did you get to ask any of the things I mentioned in post #36?
 
I got mine today from FedEx wo0t. Kinda smells like coconuts to me. Smells really good. I was bored and applied a small crumb on my guitar lol.

I'm waiting for the reviews. I'm especially interested in how it compares to 5050 because per ounce Pete's 53 is more expensive; 8oz container for 53 vs. 16 oz for 5050.

I'm also curious as to when this special price will expire. All the website says is that it's on sale for the next 30 days. It makes no mention as to when that 30 days starts or stops.

While I didn't ask today, when I previously was offered the product a month back Paul indicated to me that I probably wouldn't notice much of a difference between the two. Today, I was told that the sale would only last a few more weeks.
 
the pete's 53 is an awesome wax...has a rich warm glow and does a good job of mellowing out metal flake...has all the properties of a high end wax...goes on easy...doesn't stain...buffs off easily...and puts a smile on your face when you are done...plus it smells good...

I thought that as well, but I emailed them and have one on its way to Ireland with FedEx. It should be here in the morning so I'm looking forward to trying it out this weekend.
