Chemical Guys: "ONE", pics and process.

Post up a C&B with the 'wing, I'd love to see how it worked out for you.

I used it on the Wing. Took less than 15 minutes to do the entire bike. This stuff is grand. Less detailing time = more riding time. Check out the reflection in the saddlebag and the spoiler.

I've managed to secure a GALLON "sample" of CG ONE! Not for free, mind you. But, it's on it's way! I was told that ONE will be up on the CG site "soon" for sale...

When it gets here I'll try to get it on my G35 (which has been dirty for a week) and pop up some pics.

* thanks Brandon1 for demo-ing the CG ONE! Amazing results!

I have to say the more I use ONE the more I like it. ONE is a tremendous time saver and seems to be compatible with any product ( especially Zaino ). I was starting to ONR more and more until I found out about ONE. Both have their place though.

dogma, how would you use ONR and ONE differently? I know, at least based on my experience, ONR has no compatibility issue with Zaino....more info on ONE with Z please.

Basically ease of use. No water required. For my car I use a Calf duster first then spray ONE on the hood, front and front fenders wipe in one direction the follow with a clean MF.

Perfection in seconds. then to the rest of the car. With ONR 2 buckets with grit guards and then the usual. A little time savings by not using buckets and water and the a little time savings because no clean up. Still either way is a big time saver over conventional.

As far as compatiblity It only takes me a little time to apply ZAIO then CS. I do this process no matter which method I use. I do feel JMO that ONE by itself looks better than ONR by itself. Acutally ONE could rival a lot of LSP IMO.

How much for the gallon that you bought?

How much for the gallon that you bought?

$36 a gallon (I think is what I paid)

My Chevy Avalanche took about 3 ounces. My Wing took barely over an ounce. Looks like a normal size car (say Nissan Altima size) would take between 2 & 3 ounces, depending on how dirty it is. Less dirt = less product.

I'm with you bro, I just don't see how you can spray any liquid on a surface that's dirty and the wipe it off with any towel and not induce marring. It's just beyond logic to me.

I too was skeptical. We had a lil detailers meet and a gal brought her dodge 'workhorse' truck for our test subject of products. The front bumper was down right nasty! Dirt, bugs, and 'whatnots'. The guy who has the ONE sample srayed the bumper about 5 runs over the bumper. :nervous2:

We waited about 5-6 minutes, took a micro and wiped the bumper. DAMN! We were all standing there with our mouths open! The ONE did an outstanding job. :hifive:

Then, we tested Optimum across the whole hood. Then one half of of the hood with Victoria Wax and the other with ONE. I just KNEW the Victoria would slap down the ONE. Nope! When I ran my hand over the Victoria side and the ONE side, the ONE was smooth and the Victoria side was squeeky.

That meet convinced me to run right home and order a jug of ONE! I have seen the usage and results with my own eyes! :bigups

I've used it too but have chosen to only use it in the "wax as you dry" manner from now on. Not because of any negative experience I had with it but only because I feel so much better using it that way. It's definitely awsome stuff without a doubt.

The good men and women of Chemical Guys just send me a 16 oz. sample of ONE.

Can I use this stuff as anything else but a waterless wash?

ONE is finally on the Chemical Guys website:

WATERLESS WASH
Yep. I was at their website this morning and noticed that, the gallon is the no-brainer choice since 16oz is $12, compared to a gallon for $36.

I also noticed they don't use the rocket for the jetseal109 "logo" anymore. I'm thinking they didn't want anybody thinking it was a gimmick type product. I noticed it didn't have any affect on the price though, it still costs the same:aww:

The reason why they don't use the rocket and skullhead "logos" on their products anymore is because they copied it from the internet.

I.W.G. Mini Rocket Ship

huck gee

Don't get me wrong their products are great but what they did, is not right. You should always give credit where it's due.
