Chemical Guys: "ONE", pics and process.

the ONE is an amazing product...and you forgot to mention how awesome it smells...haha...try using it as a clay lube...you will be happily surprised when the paint is contaminant free and nicely glossed like you just waxed....never experienced any marring with the stuff as long as you use common sense and proper wash technique just like you would with onr or any other spray and wipe....its hard to describe or see in pictures but when you spray the stuff on you can see it lifting dirt...really cool stuff.....not cheap but far superior too onr in end result...no need to wax if you dont want do...the glossing agent is like a good booster for the paint...

this is a good product, like a real quick one step works on windows too. but,to be safe i hose down the car before applying.leaves a great shine:har:

I'm not sure I "GET" this product. It's being touted as a spray wash product similar to ONR or Spray and Wipe. That sound great but people are also giving praise to it's cleaning/polishing ability. If it's aggressive enough to clean then it's aggressive enough to remove most LSP's. If that's the case then it's of no value as an ONR replacement.

i think it has plenty of value...i think most of use reapply our lsp even when we do an onr wash...i know i do...if you are the type that likes to preserve your lsp...then no...this is not the product for you....and i feel i get more marring from an onr wash (but i will still say it is VERY minimal with onr) than a wash with "ONE"...and yes i use the two bucket method..double grit guards...and i use two white shmitts during an onr wash...one does a much better job of encapsulating dirt and the lubricity is enough to prevent any marring or swirls...and it leaves a gloss behind as well...so the paint does get a gloss boost like you just wiped the car down with a qd...i feel it looks just as glossy as a spray and gloss wipedown...

This sounds like a perfect product for cleaning up before a car show. I just drove on cruise to Buffalo NY for a show and after 150 miles I had some bugs and a lot of dust. This should remove the dust and be able to get the bug guts too.

Of course I've not had the best of luck w/ QEW so this kinda thing is slightly scary, not enough not to try it though.

It will not be an ONR type product if it cannot be cut. It just will not be cost effective. But with its abrasiveness that they are speaking of with the clay, it could come in to really cleanse the paint.

No matter if I love their products or just like them, it is so hard to NOT give the business to Paul. He is such a nice guy that I can talk to just about anytime. He always "has an opinion", and is not shy about sharing it. that is one thing that I love about these guys.

I have no use for a product that removes part of my LSP. Either I want to just clean the car ONR or remove all of the LSP and glazes down to the gelcoat to start fresh again. Which Men. PO85RD does this for me.

So, it will remove the LSP?

I think it will be best to wait to see what the product is actually capable of doing....I used it today to see what it really is all about..you spray it on..wipe down the paint as you would with a QD....it hazes after a minute you wipe it again...

It left the paint very smooth feeling...glossy and slick..I do not feel it took off my LSP...you are suppose to wipe it one way to gather the dirt up it dissolves...not rub it around...you see the dirt (fallout) dissolve as it hits the paint..it floats on the ONE you sprayed on..sorta strange to see..

once it is released and its proper function is noted ..I think I will get more...as I said before..it may be a great paint maintenance product...it may act as a fine clay job...or a cleaning before refreshing your LSP..cause it does leave the finish clean and smooth..it may be a AIO type QD/cleaner...

lets wait and see

yes this is not a qd.it is a liquid clay lube, clay and protect product. would really be good in fleet aplication of doing multiple cars on a lot.I hose off the crude apply like a qd wipe on let haze use a clean towel to wipe off then i apply my favorite lsp.It is fast prep product to clean before polishing or applying lsp.leaves surface nice and clean.cleans the vinyl and the glass:woot:

I just rcvd my 16oz bottle of ONE a few days ago, scared to try it. But damn it smells good, it smells like mango to me.

I have a gallon of this stuff it retails for about $23, which is half the price of PBs SW. I really like it and it should NOT be cut and used at full strength.

Paul said the product was all natural and even proved it by tasting it out of the bottle! HAHA!
