cheaper version of souveran

wondering if theres a wax that has a wet depth look like souveran for cheaper? prefer no cleaners in the wax...

FYI, if you are not aware of it, they are running a special on Souveran right now, two for $95.

Natty's Blue.

First lay down a coat of Clearkote Carnauba Moose Wax (CMW) and top with Natty's.

That combo equals Souveran in my opinion.

DP Max Wax is my all-time favorite ($30), although I've never used Souveran. If you want something cheaper, Meg's #26.

Those are my two favs.

Max wax is similar to souveran. It applies/removes the same, smells similar, but for some reason, I think I can see a difference on black. MAYBE I can, or maybe I just like to tell myself that because I paid so much more for the souveran (but I really think that I can). :D

Does souveron darken paint as much as #26?

Ive been using #26 on my red garage queen all last summer and i dont like how it darkens the paint anymore, i think it kills the look of my beautiful red paint.

Is 5050 really cheaper? I mean it ends up practically same price as Souveran when Souveran is on sale.

It didn't used to be, back when the discounters sold Souveran for 50 bucks a can. The price has since gone up to an enforced (discounters lose their Pinnacle distributorship) 79.95, excepting sales. AG's sale right now is pretty crazy (2 for 95), but its not the norm.

That's just shady in my mind..as if they're relying on people to see a high price and think 'exlcusivity' and assume it's worth the money...but if AG can't move stock at $80 a pop, then maybe they'd be better off without it (unless they want it for 'status' BS)

What are the legal issues with 'price fixing'

I know that Nintendo or Sony got into some issues with it with their game consoles years ago., but Ipods always seem to go for MSRP..so there's some loophole I'm sure :D
