I will go by a dollar store if I need some sprayers, but thats it. I hate them because of the people in them...at least where I'm at. I try to avoid them, 99% of the 99cent store's stuff is crap anyways.

Speaking of good deals though, Walmart has some good deals going on in the detailing section. NXT car wash was only $5, NXT wax was $12, and a couple of other things are pretty cheap.

The first time i saw NXT car wash for 5 bucks i grabbed 2 of them.

Now everytime i goto walmart, they are still 5 bucks lol.

I guess thats just the price...

Huh, guess I just never noticed. I know it was $8 the last time I bought, but that was from Kragen.

I wish my wal mart would carry the NXT soap. :( Oh well, I picked up a galon of hyper wash today from a local supplier.

Those look like some really good deals to me. I hope my local Big Lots or $ store has that type of selection.

this was my cheapest find. microtex towels at 10 cents

i ended up going to costco and picked up 20mf for 10 something like that plus there bigger

I've never been to a dollar store.

To tell the truth I'm afraid to go. What if I found something that I liked at a dollar store? What would that say about me? ;)

??????????

MY local advance is getting rid of all the gold class accessories. I picked up the nice white applicators for 1.99, the mf ww, wheel brush, qd pad, and something else for like 13.00 total. They still had some tire and wheel brushes for like 3.99 and 4.99 these are the ones that normally sell for like 10.99 and up

I picked up the last few cans of Stoners Invisible Glass and Tarminator at a Target store being remodelled a few weeks ago for $0.99 each on clearance. I stop by Big Lots once a month to see what they are clearing out. Picked up (over separate visits) all 3 steps of the Michellin wheel / tire cleaner / protection system for $1.99 each, a 4-gallon red car wash bucket (forget the name brand) with built in shelves and a grit guard looking thingy for $2.99, along with a bunch of other crap that I'll try once and never use again.

Also bought about a dozen original PC pads for $2 each still in the plastic bags. They worked well at the time - I went from using the 3-step Meguiar's DC system by hand to a different PC pad for each step. I've grown out of that phase. Every once in a while I have someone wanting to borrow my PC for their boat or rusty beater - they get a brand new one of these instead of my quality velcro backed pads! I've heard folks complain about them, but apart from soking up a lot of product, they weren't too bad for me to use as a PC newbie. Can't remember the last time I used one of these things on a car, but they get some use polishing shower enclosures, cultured marble, etc though.
