Cat Piss...

Different enzymes have different functions....the enzymes in oxy clean are for stains (protiens)..the enzymes in odor removal products are for bacteria....if you do not get a odor bacteria digester your odor will come back in time....

very good point Al :rockon

well.. how much time?

could be a few days...not many cover scents last more than a week tops.....sometimes the urine smell mixes with the cover scent as well so you have to smells...lol....fruity cat piss....

cat urine is the worse....I did a rug one time that I had to wear a dust mask smeared with Vicks to do it...

Urine contains Ammonia..and the bacteria feeds on it....the by product is a terrible stink...

little info for you....

Cat Urine Odors and Stains
Removing cat urine odor with household cleaners is virtually impossible. However, some cleaners may remove urine stains, but not the odor. Urine soaks deep into carpet and spreads into the padding and the sub floor. A spray type Pet Odor & Stain Remover will not penetrate into the padding or the sub floor. You have to use a pet odor remover that can be poured on the carpet to penetrate deep within the carpet. Cat urine is the worst perpetrator for pet stains and pet odors.

one other product is Natures Miracle....found at pet supply store....pour it on let it sit.....needs to soak under the rug....the backing will be the stinkiest cause its dark and a bacteria haven....let set over night if you can....

maybe it's more of a rare topic than say skunk spray:hmmm:

Its more like when I talk to the wife in the evening and she says "what's new with DC?" and I say I learned all about what enzymes take out car piss from a carpet in a car today

Her reaction is:huh:

Then I get to say yea and the thread is still going can I be excused from the dinner table so I can catch, in case there was a break threw while we had dinner:D:D

Beemer...there is good money in doing odor removal in cars....I think I have a post here from a few years back about doing a car that hit a skunk....I did it for 150.00 and the person did not blink a eye....I used 50.00 in supplies to wash the under carriage and engine compartment...the stink was gone ..most people would not like to drive in a car with a gut wrenching stink that also clings to you ..lol....

Steve should look into having a product like this...
