I went looking for a grit guard system like in the video and foiund it for $119 at gritguard.com, but they want $35 to ship it ground! Lost sale.

I bought a couple of 6 gallon pails and two gritguards from usplastics.com. I think the pails were about $7.89 each and the Grit Guards were $7.10 each. I manage to lift the buckets and move them around the car by hand just fine.



They also sell a "Pail Cruiser" for $24.95. If you by two, you can connect them with some PVC tubing.



Total cost for this "system" is about $87. The shipping is way less thanm $35.

I use two five gallon buckets from Advance Auto Parts and two grit guards from AutoGeek. $20 and works fine for me.

I always liked the bucket on wheelsl but it would be a hassle on most sloped driveways. Intersting though that Mike never once moved his. He kept walking back and forth.

The Grit Guard dollys have two locking casters to prevent rolling on inclines. Others might also. I don't know. But even still, Grit Guard is too pricey I think. No matter how you slice it, they're still essentially buckets.
