Calling all Canadians - Meguiar's GB

Everyone, eh.



Due to Max's difficulties, I attempting to arrange a GB for Meguiars products. If anyone is interested, please email at pacobbs@rogers.com with what you would be interested. The material would be shipped via Canada Post unless you would like to meet in Mississauga/TO to pick it up directly.



As this is preliminary, I can not guarantee that this will work out but I am trying it from a couple of different angles. We'll see.



Ideas for products:



Pads - 4000, 7000, 8000, 9000 (6.5")

DA Backing Plate + counterweight

All Purpose Cleaner +

Gold Class Shampoo

Unigrit sanding paper

Professional Line products (SMR2.0, Plastic polish and cleaner etc)

Bodyshop Line products (DACP etc.)



Any other products as well.

I wish we had it as easy as our US counterparts, most of this stuff can only be found at paint places with a huge mark up.

I am working with a couple of people in trying to get this hooked up. My main contact was on vacation last week so I haven't been able to get prices. I'll keep provide more details tomorrow on Tuesday. I really want to get this in place quickly as I desperately need pads!

If you're sort of taking over from Max would the prices not be the same or are you going to a different supplier?
 
Surprising but thus far I have only her from 2wheels and viper. :nixweiss I'll get a price list tonight and forward it to the people who responded later today/early tomorrow and place the order on Thursday evening / Friday morning. Hopefully, everything will be in stock.

I suspect that many of the people who responded from the first GB call got their own pads when it failed. I have found that the pads are not as durable as they seem. With the original pad that came with the 7424, I was able to do 3 cars before the pad started separated. Mind you these cars were cars with heavy buffer marks and swirls and oxidation, and not something we would encounter every day. On my own car, an average pad would probably last through 10 polishing sessions.

Here is the price list. Considering most pads are ~28 at Cmax and the polishes are about 30% cheaper it's a great deal.
