Well, since it was a really nice temperature today, figured I'd give the buick a once over since my customer cancelled due to medical reasons.
First was 3M's Fine Cut Rubbing compound on the hood, and trunk. It was pretty bad, but I only had the stock pad to work with, so I wasn't expecting anything more. (all my other pads are at my place of business)
Second, I went over the car with Meguiars #82, to get rid of any haze that was left apparent after the polishing.
Third step, AIO hand applied.
Fourth, the pad was dry by now, so I applied NXT with it.
I'm fairly happy how it turned out, but I want to try the new pads I ordered. I also bought the whole series of Poorboy's SSR lineup.
Believe it or not, my 4 coats of Klasse SG were still beading pretty good for a 8 month period of time.
Now, onto the pictures, because I know you people don't want to read all my crap.
Please excuse the white balance on the first picture, wasn't thinking when I took it.
Before:
Afters:
The hood took me a long time. Jees, 30 minutes later...
(corner was fixed, I left some wax on it)
And the final one, the preditor, stalking its prey.
Of course, I had to go and ruin it because of 1 full throttle run down the highway.
