According to G.R. Ansul of DuPont's Car Care Products, Specialty Products Division, "The addition of a Teflon flouropolymer resin does nothing to enhance the properties of a car wax. We have no data that indicates the use of Teflon fluoropolymer resins is beneficial in car waxes, and we have not seen data from other people that supports this position." Ansul also notes that, "Unless Teflon is applied at 700 degrees F, it is not a viable ingredient, and is 100 percent useless in protecting the paint's finish." Just wanted to mention that 1Z is another product line that is really superb. I like their polishes, interior products, glass cleaner, waxes, etc. A bit hard to find but well worth it.



The Plastik Reiniger is the best plastic cleaner in my arsenal.
 
I agree w/ the majority that there are just too many good brands out there to stick to just one. however, the more poorboys stuff I use, the more I like them and the more i find myself filling my cabinet w/ their products.
 
Although I use different products for odds and ends I would have to go with Poorboys as a complete line or Fk as a complete line.

Loyal to one brand? Nope not me. I am loyal to about 3-4 brands though. The reason I like using the following is because they provide me with excellent results again and again.



Menzerna/Blackfire



- I haven't found better polishes out there. They are very deep and glossy and finish perfect.

Hi Temp



- I would be lost without the extreme cut. I have been using it for a half a year and will stick with it until something better comes around.



Zaino



- I love the entire lineup of products. The z5pro is phenominal. I had to get it out of my mind that I was going to hate it when I tried it. Now I love the lineup.



Meguiars Detailer Line



- Again I would be lost without the APC, degreaser, wheel brightener, water based dressing, hyper dressing. Also #21 is nice stuff even though its not in the detailer line.



Optimum



- I dont know where I woudl be without optimum. The polish is something that gets used in every detail, and the No rinse wash and shine is handy too.

Brand loyalty with me is only earned by the best results. So far I am loyal to the following:



Wax: EGZymol for Car #1 exclusively; P21S for the daily driver

Wash: Mother's California Gold no wax stripping car wash; Black Magic Car Wash Detergent.

Clay: Zaino

QD: Sonus Carnauba Spritz for the just waxed surface; Zymol detail for everyday and the winter.

Polishes/Cleaners: Sonus SFX Line; Zymol HD Cleanse Pro

Neutralizer, Prep b4 final wax: Sonus Acrylic Spritz; Sonus Acrylic Glanz; Mother's Cleaner-Wax (for times that materials are in shortage).
