I just spent 1.5 hours looking through this thread

one part was confusing, at one point Dean had 3 lifts, then later one, it seemed he only had 1.. maybe its late, and im dreaming things up

haha I wasn't crazy afterall. I think some pics got updated. Looks like he ended up with 3 lifts in that 4 car garage. Awesome.

11' in the four car garage.

Glad someone brought this back from the past! Im so jealous I better not saying anythine for fear of saying I dont like you!

This was an amazing process. It is great to see the a dream come true from blueprints to the actual stucture. I must say Dean, you have very good taste in cars. :goodjob

I'm so jealous! I loved that you have so many lifts, then I see a Type-R under one?? I'm going to have to shut my computer off now :lol

i know it's old but what a post! It was really awesome to see a dream of Dean's go from a mere computer program and paper to living reality. Wherever you are Dean thanks for sharing and you have good taste in cars. Not extravegant but intelligent, Type-R unmodded is so rare along with the Supra and rx-7 and the z and I would have to say my favorite car would be the 05 subaru STi. But that's just me. Awesome work (I know I left out a few cars..I love BMW's too so it's alright).

Dean hasn't posted in about a year. Wonder how he's been doing in Michigan? Come back and visit us soon. Did you every sell your other house?

hes probably lost in his garage

Contrary to the above posts, I am alive and well in NORTH CAROLINA. (not sure where the Michigan thing is coming from). :)

I truly appreciate all the comments and compliments. It one of the reasons why I continue host the pictures and keep the thread alive.

The garage/house has been a continuous joy for me. The total capacity remains at 9 cars, but there is room for another (#4) lift if needed.

I highly recommend the Gladiator garage products. Pricey, but very high quality.

Several people have asked for pictures of my 2001 Canadian-spec Type R. For some bizarre reason, I get emails every so often asking to buy the red interior seats. :tumblewee

The latest addition to my collection is neither the fastest or most expensive. Nonetheless, this original 1993 Nissan NX2000 is a sentimental favorite. It has only 50k miles and was extremely difficult to find.

Cheers, Autopians. I look forward to periodic updates to the thread as needed.

The only thing I can suggest is to make sure whatever you do, that you have the option of cooling the garage at least somewhat. My garage gets so hot in the summer that you can barely do anything in it.

Good point. It's not the temperature, but the humidity in the garage that is important to control.

I have 2 continuous dehumidifiers that keep the humidity levels between 35-45% all year around.
