BlackFire Wet Diamond Waterless Wash

Thanks guys, appreciate the explanation. To my way of thinking, it seems that the Rinseless Wash product might have more utility for me since I already have 3/4 of a gallon of ONR still in the cabinet. I also can more easily overlook light soiled spots but when I notice "heavy" dirt, I'm "compelled" to remove that which is more of the job of the RW then WW, if I'm understanding you both correctly. But that aside, still not sure that changing the dilution concentration won't accomplish the same end goal and allow the rinseless wash to serve a dual purpose. Again I see the distinction your making but to me there's an awful lot of product overlap going on here.

The rinseless wash is a versatile product and it *can* be diluted to make a waterless wash. However, it won't be as easy to use, leave as slick a finish, or produce the same gloss compared a product that was originally designed for that intended use.

It can be said that there is overlap between any product that makes paint shiny. :bigups

haha I surrender to the master. I am unworthy. :ladies

AutopiaTECH summoned it up perfectly.

You can dilute the Rinseless Wash to quick detail dilution (we are careful not to call it a waterless wash). As the STIG noted, you could use it (in quick detail dilution) as a waterless wash but it is not going to give you quite the lubricity needed to safely remove grit, nor will it leave the paint as shiny or slick.

While BLACKFIRE Rinseless Wash and BLACKFIRE Waterless Wash you somewhat similar technology, they are completely different products. Both use the famed Wet Diamond Polymers, but the differences, to some degree, stop there.

BLACKFIRE Rinseless Wash is formulated to work best with a flush of water.

BLACKFIRE Waterless Wash is designed to quickly encapsulate the dirt/grime with out flushing, and to quickly evaporate/level on the surface.

Even though products are in similar categories, rinseless wash, waterless wash, wax, polish, sealant, they each are very unique in their chemical make-up.

Wow!! Thanks Todd - that's a great explanation. Based on my understanding now, the BF Waterless Wash product would be in my wheel house and I've been a huge ONR fanboy for a long time. I must confess, (preachn to the choir I know) that the BF Products I've tried have been outstanding and much to my surprise, I've been migrating to their versions over some of my old time favorites. The BF stuff is VERY good. And at the risk of repeating myself, Crystal Seal is in a class of it's own!! BTW, took your advise and applied two coats after waiting two hours - results were beyond amazing. :bigups My search for the ultimate sealant is now complete.

I'm glad you have had such positive results with the BF line up! :rockon

I just bought the 64 oz concentrate........I thought the no rinse wash was good. This stuff leaves the car super slick where the no rinse really didn't. The dilution ratio is a little high 6-7 oz per 32oz bottle so I'll get 10-11 washes from a 64oz concentrate bottle since its a 4:1 dilution ratio. Will buy the 128oz after this.

64 oz at 4:1 should give you 320 ounces of RTU (ready-to-use) product. The most I have ever used on a car was about 4 ounces (usually less), so that should get you around 80 washes. If you apply a lot 8 ounces) you are still at 40 washes.

Thanks Todd I was under the impression you flood the paint with the solution so I was using a 32oz bottle per wash......I love this forum I learn something new everyday! Plus this will actually save me money!:autopia:

I'm so confused. I've been a fanboy of ONR for a long time but had a sample of the BF Rinseless Wash in the cabinet so I decided to do a little head to head testing. Well, to my surprise I actually like the BF a little more then my old reliable ONR. Decided on 1 oz to a gallon diluation though the instructions recommends only using 1/2 oz. Frankly it seemed to clean a little better with less pressure on the MF and didn't streak at all. When using my guzzler waffle towel, I try and not use any pressure whatsoever and allow the towel & product to do the heavy lifting. In the end the paint just seems a little cleaner and slicker from the BF then ONR.

I was also a ONR fan until I tried this BFWD Waterless Wash. I like the results of the BF so much that I now use the ONR for claying and cleaning my wheels. My next move will be to try the BF total Eclipse Tire & Wheel Cleaner for the wheels and use up the ONR for claying.

BFWD Rinseless and Waterless Wash both have the combination of Wet Diamond polymers. They should promote an extremely slick shine with each use. :bigups

In all of my past orders for the past 6 months has included a sample of BFWD Rinseless for this reason.

Todd you are correct. I just used the BFWD Waterless Wash this afternoon and it leaves the slickest shine out of any waterless washes I have ever used. I am now a big fan of it. :bigups
